The hotel was big with a peaceful and exceptionally nice location near downtown as well as city life. Our experience here was very pleasant.

It had a quiet location really close to Port Townsend and city life. Also, Fairwinds Winery was 2 miles away.

We had an early morning whale watching cruise and the staff at Amber Lights made breakfast earlier to accommodate our schedule. The deer outside in the morning was a delightful surprise. The hosts greeted us with refreshments and we enjoyed feeding the deer in their yard. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the homemade breakfast, especially the strawberry pecan waffles and fruit cocktail, was delicious. The attention to detail and helpful information from the hosts made our stay even more enjoyable. It truly felt like visiting old friends with wonderful hospitality.

I recently stayed at Amber Lights for a weekend getaway. The owners were incredibly helpful and always available. The property was spotless and set in a quiet forest area, away from the hustle and bustle. I loved that they allowed us to store our bicycles in the garage when we weren't using them. The breakfast choices were unique, with some delicious local foods. it felt like a home away from home, with comfortable rooms and a warm atmosphere.
